Visual Studio 2005 SP1 has finally arrived

Since the launch of Visual Studio 2005 back in October 2005, we did several projects, ranging from Web applications, web services and winforms apps.

Back then we were still relying on Visual SourceSafe as source control but we slowly changed this to SubVersion, hoping this would reduce the erroneous character of Visual Studio. It isn't a fact but it felt that Visual Studio was a bit less buggy and was crashing less often.

One of the biggest headaches we had was the changed approach for web applications. No more web project files, and this in combination with Visual Studio resulting in a pain when checkin/checkout process.

But hopefully this comes to an end with SP1 for Visual Studio. We're going to get this SP rolled out asap and we pray for the gods this Visual Studio version will make up our losses from the last year.
