In fact, we had a discussion the other night during our evening sessions of our companies' Microsoft group, where some said that we need to minimize comment only when it is necessary. I totally agree that you shouldn't document a property called "LastName" from a person class from a development perspective. However when generating documentation like mentioned in this post we would never see that property in the generated documentation.

So, basically if documentation generation is expected one should allways write some english (or any other) explenation about the code.

For some projects I've spent a lot of time editing the content in my code and generating the documentation to see the results.

Imo, one should also add additional pages to the help content that gives more background info and some overviews here and there. Options are available in SandCastle to add these custom (HTML) pages.

GhostDoc is indeed amazing, using also for several years to get me started on writing that method comment :)

It is really good control and easy to implement. However when I use this control in DotNetNuke module, I recieve the JavaScript error and it is because of the

"jquery-latest.pack.js". Is "jquery-latest.pack.js" is written in JQuery?

I'm not able to drag-n-drop the control into the design area and if I try to drag-n-drop it into the source view, I get the error "The operation could not be completed". I'm using Visual studio 2008.

Just to mention - if I type the control declaration manualy, control works perfectly.
